Born in Oostburg, the Netherlands, the Peace Drum will arrive in Stekene on June 13, carried with care and intention by Marga and Paolo.
Upon arrival, she will be welcomed into the Druïdebos in Stekene, a deeply spiritual place surrounded by nature and silence. Here, the journey of the drum moves from creation into ceremony, from vision into lived experience.
The inauguration ceremony will be led by Els Suys, together with Guy, Marga, and Paolo. As the four guardians of the Peace Drum, they will guide this moment in presence, gratitude, and shared intention.
During this gathering, the Peace Drum will be officially inaugurated and become part of a large communal drum circle dedicated to World Peace. People will come together beyond belief, background, and origin, united through rhythm, silence, and heart.
