Sacred circles and the drum are deeply connected, both symbolically and in experience. The drum is often seen as the heart of the circle, a living rhythm that brings people together and returns everyone to the same foundation: presence.

In many traditions, the drum is therefore seen as the heartbeat of Mother Earth herself. Within a sacred circle, that heartbeat is shared, allowing people to remember that they are part of something greater than themselves.
